Durchlauffen

running-through

Running-through. At close distance you do not cut — you crash inside their structure and resolve the fight with the pommel, the crossguard, and the body.

When the bind has collapsed inward and a cut would no longer have room, the verse prescribes Durchlauffen: pass aggressively into them, use the pommel as a hammer and the crossguard as a hook, and finish with a wrestling throw.
