Zornhau mit Winden

wrath-cut with the winding

When the wrath-bind goes hard against hard, the answer is not strength but rotation. The hilt rises, the point falls from above.

The Pseudo-Peter gloss treats this as the natural continuation of the Zornhau when the bind locks Stärke gegen Stärke. Stay strong, raise the arms, wind the hilt high — the point arcs down at the face from over the cross. If they catch the high thrust with their hilt, sink the point under their guard onto the neck or chest.
